A maker’s hands, a designer’s eye, and a head full of ideas.

Design-minded software engineer. Nine years shipping interfaces, from government applications to developer tools used across Microsoft Azure. Now I prototype in code with Claude Code, and iterate until the vision is fully realized.

At Microsoft

I owned the front-end of the redesign of a core internal engineering tool, the React UI now used by all Azure engineers across multiple clouds, and built an internal "pulse board": one place for on-call schedules, livesite and incident information, and team and service wikis.

About

A little background

Engineer by trade, designer by habit.

I studied psychology at UConn, then learned to build for the web in an intensive full-time bootcamp. Since 2017 I've shipped government applications with UI/UX teams, helped win $45M+ in DoD contracts at Deloitte, and, since 2020, worked on Azure Identity at Microsoft, where my favorite work has always been the tools other engineers use every day.

Psychology taught me how people think; engineering taught me how to build for them. Every design I make starts with the people who'll use it, and it isn't done until it looks as good as it works, down to the smallest detail.

Outside of work I'm a woodworker, a guitarist, and a baker. It's the same thing I love about building: starting from scratch and making something new.
